Trash, Recycling, & Brush Collection
Nashville Department of Waste Services supplies each single family residential property a brown bin for trash disposal and a green bin for recycling.
Trash pickup is every Wednesday
Recycling pickup is every other week
Brush & leaf collection are scheduled at regular intervals throughout the year

Nations Moms Group
The Nations Moms Group is a neighborhood community for local moms to connect. Join them for kids play dates, Moms Night Outs, and other family-friendly activities, including their annual 4th of July Parade and Halloween Trick-or-Treat. Membership in their Facebook group is limited to neighborhood moms, but anyone can follow along with their events on Instagram. Interested in getting in touch? Cockrill Elementary School

The Nashville Food Project
The Nashville Food Project exists to grow, cook, and share nourishing food towards a vision of a city where people access the food they want and need through a just and sustainable food system. TNFP stewards two commercial kitchens in the Nations (5904 California Avenue) within which they cook from scratch meals to be served alongside the work of partner organizations across the city. TNFP also stewards three urban agricultural sites where families grow and share food in community.
Shower the People
Shower the People provides mobile showers, laundry services, and hygiene supplies to individuals in need throughout Nashville.
West Park Community Center
West Park Community Center is a Neighborhood facility through Metro Parks & Recreation. We offer services to all ages. We have toddler activities, After School Program & Summer Enrichment camp for ages 6-14, numerous holiday events, Sports, ceramics, Skating, senior events, and Pickleball.
