Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Nations Moms Group at their annual neighborhood parade, proudly sponsored by the The Nations Neighborhood Association!
Families will gather at Cockrill Elementary School at 9:45 AM, with the parade kicking off promptly at 10:00 AM. From there, we’ll stroll three blocks together to Fat Bottom Brewing Co., where the celebration continues.
Fat Bottom will be ready to welcome parade-goers with food, popsicles for the kids, and fun Fourth of July crafts. Bring your wagons, strollers, and patriotic spirit—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
This month’s NNA meeting will not take place, as it falls on Memorial Day. We hope to see you at the next one in June!
The Nations Neighborhood Association P&Z Co-Chairs invite all residents of The Nations to an open community meeting to share ideas and help shape the committee’s goals for 2026. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback on planning and zoning priorities and discuss issues impacting the neighborhood’s future development. Your input is encouraged and welcome as we plan for the year ahead.
Join us for a Community Clean Up on Saturday, May 2 from 9AM–11AM, meeting at Fat Bottom Brewing. Trash bags and gloves will be provided, and volunteers will receive a free pint after the event courtesy of Fat Bottom.

Our first community-wide yard sale is happening this Saturday, April 25th from 8:00am–2:00pm! With 30 homes across The Nations participating, there will be plenty of great finds to explore. Visit our 2026 Yard Sale tab for more details including an interactive seller map of all participating homes.
There will be a Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, April 23rd from 4:00-7:00pm at the Howard Office Building. Please attend this meeting in person to voice your support or opposition to the proposed development plans for 5901 California Ave. More details on the meeting can be found here.
